ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจ (Decision Support System)
ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจ (Decision Support System) เป็นระบบย่อยหนึ่งในระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการ
โดยที่ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจจะช่วยผู้บริหารในเรื่องการตัดสินใจในเหตุการณ์หรือกิจกรรมทางธุรกิจที่ไม่มีโครงสร้างแน่นอน
หรือกึ่งโครงสร้าง
ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจอาจจะใช้กับบุคคลเดียวหรือช่วยสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจเป็นกลุ่ม
นอกจากนั้น ยังมีระบบสนับสนุนผู้บริหารเพื่อช่วยผู้บริหารในการตัดสินใจเชิงกลยุทธ์

ได้เริ่มขึ้นในช่วง ปี ค.ศ. 1970
โดยมีหลายบริษัทเริ่มที่จะพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อที่จะช่วยผู้บริหารในการตัดสินใจปัญหาที่ไม่มีโครงสร้างที่แน่นอน
หรือกึ่งโครงสร้างโดยข้อมูลมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงตลอด
ซึ่งระบบสารสนเทศเดิมที่ใช้ในลักษณะระบบการประมวลผลรายการ (Transaction processing system) ไม่สามารถกระทำได้

Decision support systems
Decision support systems is one of subsystems in
information systems management. The decision support system to help managers in
making decisions in business activity , event or unstructured course . Or
semi-structured Decision support systems may be used with a single individual
or to a group decision support but also the support system to help executive
management in strategic decisions .
Decision Support System Began in the 1970s, many companies
have begun to develop an information system to help the management in decision
making problems with no structure. Or semi- structured data is changed forever
. This system was used in the transaction processing system is not possible .
It also aims to reduce the workforce. Lower cost and also helps in the modeling
analysis to describe the problem and decide the issue until 1980, an attempt to
use the system to assist in supporting the decision has spread . To groups and
organizations to help in the decision support has spread out to various groups
and cognitive .
